A Word from Tracy Walters

Dear Camp Reed Friends,

The intent of this letter is to let you know about the formation of the Camp Reed Endowment. This endowment will ensure that kids continue to experience the positive impact in their lives that Camp Reed has given thousands over the years past.

One of the highest honors of my life was the time I spent as a director at Camp Reed. When Leta and I accepted the task of operating/rebuilding Camp we had no idea that it would be the foundation for so many of the relationships with people we love and care about today, more than 40 years later.

Over the years and across the country you have come together many times, become leaders in the community, championed new causes, and supported important endeavors.

I am asking you to come together again, one more time. It is with great humility that I have accepted the role of Honorary Chairman of the Camp Reed Endowment. With your help, this endowment will have a lasting impact. Imagine with me, that 100 years from today, through your generosity and kindness, campers will still tell us that Camp was the greatest week of their lives.

Details are enclosed and can also be found at campreed.org. I remain,
